If you want to start a business online, such as a web designer or someone offering products online it is good to take a number of steps. In a previous article I talked about the preparatory work, but the next step is that you actually will be.
1. Set a date for starting your business
With the pressure of a certain date your company starts, put a healthy pressure on yourself and you will often improve performance. Take a realistic period. Eg 6 months from now, so you have the time to be well prepared.
2. Get at that date, a concrete product afhebt
With a specific product, you have the site ready for your business, but if you already have an example you can also book ready PDF, or a course or a particular logo. With a specific product you ensure that you have a specific, tangible (even though it's digital) end result, what you can see.
3. Write a plan for yourself
To know where you are going to work is a useful plan. All the things you want to reach you put it. You can make them a sort of script on the basis from which to start working, but make sure that these are manageable goals.
4. Provide manageable steps
Goals that are manageable, you can break again. So that at some point comes to a point where you step so small that you can take it with ease. Then you achieve small goals and always gives only reason to continue. Set realistic goals that are so clear and easy to get. Most goals are not met because because they are too 'great'.
5. Go as concretely as possible in order
With practice I actually mean the same as above, but in points that you can achieve. Something you can see if you stress away from a list. Make sure you keep your ultimate goal again have in mind, that you yourself will start, so you want to earn.
6. Start a blog which you can convey your expertise
A weblog is a very specific purpose for which you can show the world what expertise you have at home. Through this website I show that I have a lot to talk about building websites. People will see your self as an expert in a particular subject, but if you really have something to say and no nonsense supplies.
7. Invest in a few essential good stuff
For a small business, however small it is certain software and hardware is indispensable. This is also the one thing you really need. An office is not necessary, at the kitchen can also work, but it's nice if your computer or laptop is working properly and that there are good stable running software on it is of course great. This investment is your gain in the long term.
8. Create a financial plan and have it look
You're going to spend money and there is money coming. In advance to think about absolutely safe. Though it may equally well be that things differently than expected. Try someone else to see that there is some sense of it. Are your goals realistic and put you too high. Another may look at it independently.
9. Provide a good sparring partner
Actually this applies to all cases mentioned, let someone else look at it, brainstorming with friends about it, in short, care for someone with whom you can exchange ideas here. This helps you to get ahead. Sometimes you think too negatively and of yourself, if it helps you to get off your pedestal, you have too high opinion of yourself. Whether it helps you to express your ideas to yourself so they are also brighter.
10. Practice, learn and try!
